Some of the common questions
What conditions or health concerns can you help with? I can help with both general health related concerns and also complicated and chronic disorders. My speciality is trauma and mental health disorders and anything that is related to that including autoimmune and chronic illnesses. Please see the Service and About sections for more details.
What can I expect during an initial consultation? During those 60 to 75 minutes we thoroughly examine your symptoms, health history, medications and supplements already taken, diet and lifestyle, emotional well being, stress levels and anything else that is relevant to your case. We asses you holistically. Lots of questions get asked. We also go over blood tests or similar if provided and perform relevant physical and/or complementary examinations i.e. BP reading, tongue diagnosis. You get a thorough explanation of what is happening and why. At the end of our session a personalized, holistic treatment plan gets developed that aligns with your goals, budget and lifestyle.
Are your services covered by insurance or other health programs? Yes, some insurance providers cover my services depending on your policy – Southern Cross, Accuro, NIB and Marran and others on individual bases so please check with your provider. I am also a WINZ accredited supplier so my services and remedies can be subsidised to those that qualify for health and disability allowance or are on sickness benefit. If this instance you need to liaise with your GP or other regulated health care provider to sign the form.
What types of treatments or therapies do you use? I am trained at biochemistry, naturopathy, herbal medicine, homeobotanicals, basic aromatherapy, basis homeopathy, tissue salt therapy, flower essence therapy, massage therapy, zone therapy, nutrition and nutraceutical supplements, basic counseling and also reiki/energy and crystal healing. I have also done and continue doing extensive training in trauma and mental health issues. To keep my registration I have to provide a yearly evidence of CPE (Continual Professional Education) so am up to date with latest research and education in my industry.
